"We can't tell you how much we appreciate all your help and everything you and the team have done for us, thank you just doesn't seem like enough.
There's some comfort in knowing that you and the team are available to help if anything pops up in the future."

The Wausau Paranormal Research Society (WPRS) conducts professional investigations of reported unexplained phenomena — including hauntings, apparitions, poltergeist activity, UFO sightings, and cryptid encounters. Our team applies structured methodology, modern equipment, and technical training to each case, aiming to gather credible evidence and deliver accurate documentation. We strive not only to investigate, but to help clients better understand and, when possible, coexist with any anomalies present in their home or business. Our equipment suite includes tools for detecting changes in electromagnetic fields, temperature, radiation, audio anomalies, and infrared signatures — supporting our scientific approach to the paranormal.
Founded in 2000 and based in Wausau, Wisconsin, the WPRS is a veteran investigative team with over 75 years of combined experience in the field. We’ve conducted investigations across Wisconsin and throughout parts of the U.S., offering informed, non-sensationalized support to clients facing unexplained phenomena. Our team includes professionals trained in criminal justice, military security, environmental science, media technology, healthcare, industrial trades, and information systems — enabling us to approach each case with both technical skill and interdisciplinary insight. We are proud to serve as the official TAPS Family representative for Wisconsin.
WPRS is available for community, educational, and organizational speaking engagements. Topics include paranormal investigation methods, case studies, regional haunts, and theory behind unexplained phenomena. Our presentations are informative, engaging, and grounded in experience.
