Synopsis

The property dates to the 1800’s when it was once a large family-owned farmstead. Prior to the client purchasing the plot of land in 1968 when it was subdivided into residential lots, the property was used as a pea viner operation for a local canning company.

A family member of the clients reached out to the WPRS for assistance about possible paranormal activity occurring in the home and was concerned about visiting there. The client agreed to allow the WPRS to investigate the property to determine if the property was truly haunted or if a reasonable explanation for the activity could be given.

After discussing the activity with the clients, researching the historical records and other pertinent information compiled, it was determined that the investigation’s focus would be centered around the vast number of religious artifacts and antiques that the clients have collected from around the world and a possible spiritual attachment to those items.

Investigation

The WPRS conducted the investigation on Feb. 28, 2026, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Investigators present were Beaudry, Blaschka and Brown.

Equipment used during the investigation included Trifield, K2 and REM POD EMF meters, Geiger counter, motion detectors, Kinect 3D Image SLS Camera, Thermal Image Camera, standard digital camera and digital recorders.

Base line EMF (milligauss/mg) and temperature readings were conducted throughout the entire home. The house had standard/low mg. readings other than near electrical equipment like microwaves, radios, alarm clocks and electrical wiring. The temperature in the house was between 69-73 degrees in most areas. No radiation levels were found with the Geiger counter.

During the EMF sweep of the home, unusual high EMF spikes on the Trifield meter would appear and suddenly disappear (up to 25 milligauss) around waist level throughout the home during the investigation. Equipment failure and battery drainage would occur when high EMF levels were reported.

The team tried to determine what or if a particular relic or antique was found to have or hold an electromagnetic field. Due to the vast number of items collected in the home this turned out to be unachievable.

During the investigation Investigator Beaudry and Brown were downstairs in the basement while Investigator Blaschka was upstairs in the entry way putting equipment together when both Beaudry and Brown heard a voice calling out, “Beth”. The voice sounded exactly like Investigator Blaschka. Investigator Blaschka stated that he did not call out for Beth. The disembodied voice seemed to come from the upper stairwell area but was not heard by Blaschka.

The team conducted a walkthrough of the home with the Kinect 3D image SLS camera. The far end storage/sitting room in the basement produced an image of a small figure sitting on a chair. When we approached the figure, it disappeared then reappeared in a different chair. The small figure was again captured in the next room standing but when approached it also disappeared.

The team proceeded upstairs and captured a small figure sitting near the old antique school desk that was in the study area. High EMF spikes on the K2 meter were prevalent during the SLS footage of the figure.

This small figure was captured once again on the SLS system but this time in the master bedroom’s reading room. The figure was standing near the end table by the chair. Investigator Brown sat down on the chair and the figure moved to the other side of the chair. Investigator Brown held out her hand and asked the figure to try and hold her hand. The figure appeared to reach out towards the investigator's hand. Investigator Brown stated her hand felt cold. The thermal image showed her hand was 42.9 degrees.

The team decided to depart the bedroom and go to the first (Pink) bedroom. Investigator Blashcka asked the figure if it wanted to play hide and seek. At that moment, an EVP was captured on a digital recorder of a low whisper saying NO or GO.

A small figure was captured on the SLS camera system in the pink bedroom standing near the rocking chair and two small figures were found in the third bedroom. One figure was sitting in the chair and the other was briefly standing next to it at the same time.

The team concluded with an EVP session, laying down some basic ground rules, instructions for the entities and a prayer to help move the entities on.

Conclusion

When considering our personal experiences, the disembodied voice, unexplainable high EMF spikes, equipment failure, SLS camera footage and EVPs, it’s probable that the home has a degree of paranormal activity from multiple entities. Due to the immense number of religious artifacts, it is not believed that the activity is malevolent in nature but possibly an attachment from one of the antiques in the home. Family members should not have any concerns about staying at the residence due to the phenomenon.
